I don’t know about you but given the fact that you are here I can probably proclaim that you dig cute lounge and nightwear as much as I do. And when I went out shopping with friends the other day I noticed that the latest loungewear trends were coming into stores already.
So I did what any respectable millennial cliché fashion blogger in 2019 would do: I sat around in my PJs all day, sipped a cuppa and browsed the internet for the latest loungewear trends…
Summer is my favorite season but given the steady drop of temperatures and the increase of sky leaks (read: rain) I might have to accept that it might just be time to layer up again soon. Trust me, I’m mentally not prepared for that and like every year I will deny it until the cold smacks me in the face real hard… But at the same time I am totally up for getting my hands on a new cute pajama set (or ten) for fall…
On that note, when you shop for coziness make sure they keep you warm in winter.
Loungewear trends made in Europe
To be honest, I am actually quite intrigued by the latest European night and loungewear trends for fall 2019, what with animal print finally making it into the bedroom! I also think that the colors were chosen really well for the colder season. Earth shades and burned colors already make you feel warm and cozy just looking at them. Plus, they get you all hyped for pumpkin spice lattes.
All brands I picked for today are based in Europe, so lots of my North American readers might not have heard of all of them just yet. But that’s about to change right now. So without further ado, let’s dive right into it!
Etam nightwear collection
A French brand that I came across in the beautiful South of France for the first time. One of my favorite PJs is, in fact, by Etam. I’ve probably washed it a hundred times already and it still looks and feels great!
The loungewear trend items I picked here are from their “Arabian Nights” collection and dip right into the whole safari theme that’s going on in stores right now. Most pieces are still very short and airy which makes them perfect for late summer and very early fall.
I especially love the black jumpsuit (2) and the long pajama set (5) for loungewear. They look soft, comfy and stylish!
ASOS loungewear trends
6. Animal and palm short PJ set (USA / UK) | 7. Off shoulder top with tie (USA / UK) | 8. Cactus PJ set (USA / UK) | 9. Striped loungewear (USA /UK) | 10. Slouchy lounge v-neck top (USA / UK) | 11. Tiger print slip dress (USA / UK)
Everyone and their goldfish have heard of ASOS at some point or another, so this one is probably not a huge surprise for you. Therefore, let’s get straight to the point, namely their beautiful safari inspired night and loungewear designs. I had a really hard time picking a handful of trend items today because ASOS always has so much on their website, it’s hard not to spend a month’s income in one go…or is that just me?
In any case, while I dig all styles I picked here, my favorites are the cactus themed pajama set, the cropped v-neck set (10) and the striped, cropped loungewear set (9). All three of them look exceptionally cute and comfy!
Hunkemöller lingerie and loungewear
A Dutch company founded in 1886 by a German couple, hence the very German name. Given the fact that they have been around for over 130 years you can pretty much bet on it that they will be producing quality items and on-point designs for years to come. However, sadly not (yet) for the US American market, but what are shopping services for?
My personal favorites are the slip dress (15) and the coral lingerie set (12). I love the burned colors and the sexiness, if you can describe a garment like that. I mean, just look at the lace details. That alone is already enough for me to throw my money at them! I also love that they designed the bra with two straps per side. It makes for a very pretty design plus helps with the pressure on your shoulders.
All colors and patterns are right on point for this year’s loungewear trends, so no matter what you invest in, you will look fabulous! Etam and Hunkemöller sell online and in stores across several countries, ASOS you can get online. I would also love to hear your take on this year’s loungewear trends for fall. Will you shop it? If so, what’s your favorite item? Let me know!
