We all want to nail our New Years Eve looks, we’ve also only been waiting for this night for 365 days… Okay, let’s say 364 because, let’s be honest here, most of us were nursing our hangovers the morning after – literally – last year and couldn’t stomach the idea of another party at that time…
In any case, it’s time to step up and pick something gorgeous to wear on the night of the nights! But before showing my personal favorite picks, I will shamelessly take a moment to highlight a brand I already blogged about, because I really believe they have great designs that totes work for parties! If you are curious, you can read about Moni Novy right here.
But on to my newest finds, because SHOPPING!!! And as usual, a click on the image takes you to the shop (check the shop location, US and UK links are mixed). Don’t forget to read my top 10 tips on how to shop online first though!
If you love this dress but it’s either out of budget or not available in your size anymore, this ASOS dress is a good alternative.
ASOS also has a very pretty dress that’s more on the flowy side of things, but still beaded.
I’m staying with the beads and the bling-bling because it works, especially for as a NYE look!
Now that we have established that Miss Selfridge does great stuff for New Years Eve, let’s have a
look at this two piece for a change.
The next three items are by a favorite brand of mine, Vera Mont / Betty Barclay. I have several of their party and cocktail dress and love them to bits! Those I own have a great quality and feel fantastic wearing them, so I happily recommend that brand. The first one is an elegant jumpsuit, the second one a short but flowy cocktail dress and the third one a beautiful long gown. I realize that they ain’t cheap but you can obviously wear them to other parties and occasions as well, not only as New Years Eve looks. All of them will be great for summer parties and wedding receptions, just to give you some examples.
I also picked some budget friendly favorites at Forever 21, if you don’t invest triple digits into your New Years Eve looks. Check out this iridescent cutout dress, for example. I love the back of it, very interesting!
Or this halter top that will look stunning with dark skinny jeans and high heels!
I also can’t get over this sheer blouse, it’s stunning!
There are so many options out there, it’s hard to decide what to go for! I hope that I could give you some inspiration for your own New Years Eve looks for 2018/2019. Which one would be your top pick? Or do you prefer to thrift?
